There were suppose to be 8 - 10 people there, but President Obama was in town and traffic was a nightmare, therefore there were only 4 of us there and we LOVED it! It was like our very own cooking lesson. We learned to make Shrimp & Grits, seasoned veggies, as well as Bread Pudding. The techniques and recipes Chef Diane used can easily be translated into our own kitchen. After our 1 1/2 hour cooking class, we got to eat the yumminess and OMG....our bellies were STUFFED!! I can't wait to make our it at home!!
We were having so much fun and were so interested in everything we were learning, I only took one picture and of course it was of Ben cooking. I promise I stirred, chopped, AND taste tested...alot ;)
oh em gee, this sounds like so much fun! I'm supposed to go to a chinese food cooking class at the end of the month, but we'll have to see. I've never used groupon but I should check it more often!
ReplyDeleteWe had a blast! It was not intense at all, just lots of fun. As for Groupon, you should definitely check them out daily. I bought another one a few months ago for like $29 for a Wine and Cheese night for 2 and it normally costs $80 for two people. We are going in April :)
